The films are fine, but almost inaudible, so not much use for Russian learners
Sadly, the audio on the Russian Holmes series do sound somewhat like you are listening while sitting inside a washing machine. But alas, all copies of this that I have seen from a variety of sources sound the same. But I personally still find them very enjoyable.
A Russian colleague recommended that I try and watch these. I was nearly put off when I saw the comments about poor sound quality. I have so far only watched the first one and though I am slightly hard of hearing I have to say that using headphones the sound quality was absolutely FINE. Thank you!
